I was a visual and brand designer for Microsoft Game Stack 2020 at Microsoft.

Microsoft Game Stack (MGS) sought to provide an answer to the question, "What can Microsoft do for you?" if you're a game developer. And the answer to that question is, "A lot. Tell us what you need, and we'll point you in the right direction." Following our initial launch in 2020, the goal of MGS was to still embody that answer, but also to analyze our shortcomings and pivot our brand.

The challenge was to evolve with the goal of making MGS more streamlined, accessible for our partners and to greater leverage Microsoft's current AAA titles and past experience in gaming as a tool to promote our expertise in game developmentā€”something we had avoid because we felt it would alienate indie developers, but we learned that was not the case.
