Chaos Rains

A fast-paced game developed in under a week for the Brackeys Game Jam 2021.2.

I designed and developed Chaos Rains for the Brackeys Game Jam 2021.2, where the theme was "Let There Be Chaos." Built in under a week, the game was a test of rapid ideation, design, and development under tight constraints. I created the concept, mechanics, and visuals, completing the project with over a day to spare. Out of 1,735 entries, Chaos Rains placed 109th overall.

Context

The Brackeys Game Jam gives participants one week and a theme. For 2021.2, the theme was Let There Be Chaos. The constraint forces prioritization: concept, mechanics, art, and polish all have to fit inside the same window. I built Chaos Rains to lean directly into the theme: fast-paced, unpredictable, and designed to feel like controlled disorder.
