Silent Hill Ascension

A community-driven interactive horror series where I helped define the UI’s visual direction.

I was a UI/UX Designer on Silent Hill Ascension, a new form of interactive entertainment developed by Genvid that blended television with gaming. The experience allowed viewers to participate in live storylines by playing minigames to earn points, which were then used to vote on key narrative decisions. Votes were tallied weekly, with the story progressing based on community input. My role was to design the user experience and interface systems that supported this hybrid format, ensuring gameplay, voting, and storytelling were intuitive and engaging for a global audience.

Role

  • Led the definition of the project’s visual direction, creating a clear framework for how the team approached look and feel by establish a visual “north star” that guided design decisions and team alignment.
  • Built and maintained the shared Figma design library, enabling the team to scale efficiently, iterate faster, and maintain visual cohesion across a large, multi-studio production.
